Why Clear View?

It’s the Only Patented Invisible Screen System.
ClearView screens utilize the technology of roll-up blinds, updated and advanced to work vertically or horizontally.  Clear View screens are manufactured with a durable, lightweight aluminum housing that protects the screen material when not in use. Within the housing, the ClearView retractable screen is anchored to an aluminum tube with a tension control device. ClearView’s patented “Safe-Glide” Speed Reducer™ insures our doors will retract fully without danger of trapped fingers or a “slamming” return.

Maintenance:
For years of worry free operation of your retractable system(s), please follow the recommended maintenance tips.

Track Maintenance:
1. Keep tracks free of dirt and debris by performing a monthly cleaning (or as needed). Use a clean cloth
and mild (non-abrasive) detergent to wipe down entire tracks, both top and bottom.

2. After cleaning the tracks, apply a thin even coat of ClearView Dry Silicone Spray (greaseless) to both
the top and bottom tracks. Wipe off any over spray. ClearView Dry Silicone is available from your
local dealer.

3. Main housing unit can be wiped down with clean cloth and mild, non-abrasive detergent.

Screen Maintenance:
1. To protect screen material, always keep screen rolled up into housing when not needed for ventilation.

2. You may clean the screen by wiping it down using a “moist towel” or by vacuuming with an upholstery brush. Carefully vacuum the outside, then the inside, taking care not to snag the screen.

3. Keep pets from clawing or scratching at the screen mesh.

4. Do not push on the screen to make the unit open, this will cause damage over time and is not recommended.

INVISIBLE SCREEN DOOR
IS OUT-OF-SIGHT WHEN YOU DON’T NEED IT

Door and window screens have been around for many years, but the latest designs are invisible screens that are there when you need them and out-of-sight when you don’t.

The Screen Pros, manufacturer of Clear View screen doors, has developed an innovative way to have the benefits of a screen without the ugly appearance when not in use.

“Clear View screens fit in small channels in the door frame, and retract when not in use,” stated Lewis Kasner, Vice-President of The Screen Pros. “You can now let the beauty of your door show when closed, and when the door is open, have the protection of a screen. It’s the best of both worlds. In addition, Clear View screen doors are available in designer finishes to blend in with any color door.”

Clear View has a patented speed-reducer that slows the screen as it retracts into the housing. Many retractable screens without this feature are noisy and can pinch fingers.
